Serving Northern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin
In 1927, Marty Endresen founded what was then known as Endresen Radio Service. He sold the company in the late 1960s to Wally Morse and Robert Stickney. They incorporated the business and renamed it to Endresen Sound Company as they expanded into a business that operated with commercial fire alarms and nurse call systems. They provided many schools and nursing homes in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin with fire alarms and public address systems for the next three decades.
The company changed to ESC Systems Sound and Life Safety in the early 1990s. In 1997, Wally Morse retired and Dan Everson and Jim "Rudy" Stabe purchased half of the business. Robert Stickney stayed till 2002 and, finally, gave complete ownership to Dan and Rudy. As a third-generation locally owned and operated business, ESC Systems Sound and Life has been a leader in the fire alarm industry in the Northern Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin area.
